The City of Tustin's Annual Major Pavement Maintenance Program

Local public streets in Tustin Ranch will be slurry sealed. As schools will be out for Easter break starting Friday, April 2, 2010 though Friday, April 9, the focus is to perform all work around schools during that time. Schools in the area are Peters Canyon Elementary School, Pioneer Middle School, Ladera Elementary School, and Tustin Ranch Elementary School. Although schools will not be in session, notices will be sent to them as a courtesy. Also, notices to homeowners associations are being sent out when specific dates of slurry seal are known. Pioneer Road will be slurry sealed one half at a time, as will Peters Canyon Rd.

Pioneer Way will be closed between Tustin Ranch Road and Pioneer Road on Monday, April 5, 2010 and possibly a portion of April 6 for removal and reconstruction of various portions of failing pavement. The closure will be during daytime off peak hours only. Changeable Message Signs (CMS’s) will be placed a week in advance of closure. Although Pioneer Way will be slurry sealed on April 7 and 8, it will not be closed.
